Stayed for a few nights in 9/2017. Relatively small campground, located just north of I-40 - easy on/off. Turning north on Hwy 13, turn right just after Log Cabin restaurant - the KOA sign is not prominent and might be missed. Highway noise was not excessive. Relatively new owners, who were very nice and helpful during check-in. Nice pool, clean facilities, cable, and WIFI. Campground is located on a slope, and our particular site was not level fore/aft, which maxed out our leveling jacks; other sites looked more level. Side spacing was OK. Most RV sites are pull-thru. Gravel roads and pads. Shade trees and picnic tables. Looked like just a few sites suitable for big rigs. There are a couple of restaurants close-by. Overall good stop while traveling between Nashville and Memphis. Traveling in 36' 5th wheel. Would return.
Small but really place to spend a few nights for visiting L. Lynn's Ranch. Clean facilities. Shaded which has been great. New owners were great too. Thanks
A great little cabin close to the highway. The bathroom was clean, easy to get to and nice. WiFi was good, and being able to park in front of the cabin was very convenient. Over all I would recommend this place to any one not wanting or needing a hotel room during there travels. Additionally my dogs like the KOAs, and the pet rate is very reasonable.
Great location for a quick stop. Very helpful staff. Not many amenities or things to do which was fine with us. Cell service was good. Parking and spaces are very tight. Not good for large motor homes. Not possible for large RVs with trailers. Driveways too small.
We booked a night at this KOA to stop on our way up to Indiana. We arrived around 9:00 pm. I booked a tent site with electricity. It turns out the campground decided we would not be getting a site with electricity. It was a bit humiliating to have to find someone with an extension cord in the dark that was willing to let us blow up our air mattress. Additionally, that meant we had to spend the night with no fan. I saw that previous reviews mentioned they could hear interstate traffic. That's an understatement. You can actually see the traffic passing 30 yards away on the interstate and it is LOUD. Don't forget the bright light right outside the tent area that is just dim enough to not provide any assistance other than to shine in your eyes while trying to sleep. Their map provided no help in finding out site which was not labeled.
