It looks very old style but the chicken fried steak is so so good! Definitely worth a stop. I can't wait to go back and eat it! We also tried several pies... No complaints. They all tasted good. The memorabilia is neat to look at but nothing amazing. If you're a Loretta fan, you should give it a try. The price is good too!
The waitress was amazing. The place was beautiful. The food was great. Just like a home cooked meal. The two that were at the counter when we checked out were rude. Spent the whole time gossiping then when they messed up on our bill got rude to us. This was our first time eating here, we never get to do things as a family and thought it would be a nice experience. Pretty sure we won't go here again. Pretty sure Loretta would have never let that happen in her restaurant.
Very nice place to visit cool gift shop lots n lots Loretta Lynn pics n stuff on the wall. Food was great not much of a selection. As far as buffet goes reminds me of an iron skillet. I was hoping for a hometown buffet, golden corral, Furrs all you can eat with lots of desserts. If that's what your looking for don't stop unless you would love to see all the cool stuff inside. It's on top of a hill can't miss it big sign Loretta Lynn's kitchen.
It was neat to see the memorabilia, and a nice gift shop. The restaurant was clean, the food great at a good price. The waitress, named Mary, was friendly and gave outstanding service with a smile.
We have eaten at Loretta Lynn's at least 10 times in three years. We have always loved it and have even gone out of our way to go there. Today was not good. There was only two couples besides us. Our waitress, Anna, was talking to a couple three booths behind us about someone's boyfriend and other stuff. The conversation was completely personal...had nothing to do with their food . We sat there for five or six minutes when the other waitress brought us menus and called our waitress by name and motioned to us. Anna waved her hand at her then proceeded to keep talking with the other couple. About four minutes later she left her visit with the other couple and started away from us. Mind you the other couple were done and got up to leave so we were her only table. My husband said to her that he wanted sweet tea when she had time. He went to the buffet and she finally came and asked me what I wanted to drink. I told her and said my husband wants the same. She said "yeah" I heard him. She then goes into the kitchen and I hear her telling them that he yelled at her saying he wanted sweet tea when she had time. He did not yell. He was very polite considering that she ignored us for at least ten minutes even after the other waitress pointed us out to her. After this she had attitude and our attitude was not the best either. Most of my food was also not even warm. This was a disappointing visit to one of our favorite places.
